Myanmar and Aung San Suu Kyi are synonymous with each other:  because in modern era She represent the Country and the Country is known as the birthplace of this great Leader toward world.

The modern Myanmar (Burmese) state was founded in the 18th century by Alaungpaya. Conflict with the British over Assam resulted in a series of wars, and Myanmar fell to the British in 1885. Under British control, it became Burma, a province of India. It was occupied by Japan in World War II and became independent in 1948. The military took power in a coup in 1962 and nationalized major economic sectors. Civilian unrest in the 1980s led to antigovernment rioting that was suppressed by force. Opposition leader in Burma (Myanmar).

Daughter of nationalist leader Aung San, Aung San was the Major General of of Myanman. He helped to Gain freedom from British Rule. Two Years after the freedom he was murdered by the other generals of the opposition side.

Khin Kya , Mother of San Suu Kyi appointed Ambassador from Myanmar to India and Nepal in the year 1960. During that period Suu Kyi Studied Jesus and Mary convent school and completed her Graduation from Lady SriRam College from New Delhi.

She lived quietly in Britain until, returning to Myanmar in 1988, she was moved by the brutality of U Ne Win's military regime to begin a nonviolent struggle for democracy and human rights.

The 1990 electoral victory of her National League for Democracy was ignored by Ne Win's government, and she was held under house arrest from 1989 to 1995. She subsequently continued her opposition activities and was subject to varying degrees of government harrassment, including another period of house arrest in 2000–02. She was awarded the 1991 Nobel Prize for Peace.

She was released from house arrest in the year 2011 , after 21 long years when she lost her beloved husband and mother.In her famous speech she said " The fear of loosing popularity and  power , corrupts leaders and therefore they do every crime and commit brutality to their own people, Due to the intense violence of Military leaders to the people,  they lost their morals ,ideology and dignity".

San Suu Kyi is Buddhist and lifetime believer of Non-Violance like our National Leader Gandhiji.Therefore Vision of true Democracy and Non-Violence is Her Only Weapon Aganist Intense Military Violence.Whole Country supported her as the mother of their nation aganist age old military rule.

Suu Kyi also dedicated her life for the people and country with her non-violence way.New Military Government also want utilise Suu Kyi`s international fame to get rid of from imposed Banned for Trade and Industry by the developed nation like America , Europe, Japan etc.Therefore they released her and allow to participate her party in the present Bi-Election of  parliment (for 44 seats) . Suu Kyi`s party own 43 seats out of 44( 2012 Bi-Election).

This was her first step or Reward for her life long struggle aganist intense militery violence. Her Life- long silent struggle
bound to bow down her country`s militery rulers to accept her as a national leader into their parliament for the betterment of their and country`s future.

That is the sweet revenge of San Suu Kyi aganist the violence of Militery regime.

This is the just begining of her success at the age of 67 years,San Suu Kyi have a long way to go with her iron determination and belief toward the path of complete and true democracy for her beloved countrymen. Wishing her best of luck from my bottom of the heart.
